Looking out the Window

Where have I been?

Well, I have pretty much been at home or work and not much else because I have had a nasty bug - NASTY.  I keep hoping that it'll be over, but then it isn't.

Thankfully, Christine came to my rescue and gave me a bottle of contraband Mucinex and at least this made me more comfortable.

First, I got a horrible rash.  Then I lost my voice and had a bad sore throat for a week.

The second week my voice came back, but my head felt like it was going to explode.

The third week, I was just pathetic.

I did take one day off of work and I learned that my red labrador has NO limit to the amount of time she will lay next to me.  Now Thatcher, he gets bored.

On day 3 of horizontal couch time, he starts throwing his toy pigs at me and when this doesn't work, he punishes the big pig until he is out of breath and then he just stares into space frustrated.

I was not the genesis of this bug; it was brought to me by the guy that shares the adjacent office, but I am fairly certain I have taken out the majority of the management team.  The looks I got while sick at work were quite funny - something between horror and fascination.

See, so that's why I have not been blogging.

  2. Have really missed you, but figured you deserved a break.
But wouldn't have wished this on you for anything. I'm glad your companions were with you even if a little distracted.
Tell us about the great pictures, That's a painting on a window with the dog? And don't know those two dogs and I love the pig...it looks like something your mother would collect.
Sounds like the worst is over...you deserve something special...a chocolate malt??? A massage?? Fresh sheets and a long, long shower. Take care...you are loved.
