Sunrise over the Columbia River

I was looking forward to seeing everyone at Hanford.  It was a chance to see the big groundwater treatment system completed and to give (and get) some big hugs.

There was a fire in the northwest that hung heavy in the air.  It made for difficult for breathing, but did enhance the photographs.

  1. Some of that fire you mentioned covered most of Idaho in smoke before you came. We had at least two weeks of it. Tomatoes didn't ripen all the way down to Meridian...no sun. Strange year.
